Thoughts on my first Apple system:
- I don't remember having to give my phone number to Linux when I installed.
- I think I've seen three UI toolkits in the setup screen so far?
- Dear *gods* I have to hit "skip" or "not now" or "maybe later" a *lot*.
@xgranade I have a Mac for work and a spare MacBook Air I use for “emergency normal people things” like interviews where it Must Work.
I hate both machines. The level of “you don’t really own your computer” creeps me out. Not to mention the load bearing dependency everyone has on homebrew to do anything useful. I’d rather have a KDE plasma session duct taped together that does what I want.
