Trying to save a ~36 hour 3D print.
When I set up Klipper, I may have assumed the Z area was 25mm larger than it is…
I've resliced, chopped the top off at a "safe" height and made note of the Layer number where the slice occurs.
Now to adopt the patience and attention of a sniper, approaching layer 874.

I’ll print the chopped-off bits later then glue them on. With “fuzzy skin”, it shouldn’t be apparent.

@ihorner I have my fingers crossed for you!

Are you modifying (or replacing) the heatsink to allow for more "traditional" cooling, or going with a blower-style setup to push air through the stock heatsink?

@nullcolaship I’m going to open up the heatsink grills. It seems to offer the best noise reduction, and even if I mangle the fins, once it’s in a case it’s all hidden.

Going with this model btw, because I *thought* it would fit in my build envelope. https://www.printables.com/model/1539422-bc-250-case-remixed

@ihorner Noise is definitely a concern with the blower-style approach, so that makes sense. That case looks decent - good luck with the split print!
