CIT unaware of misconduct investigation into CEO when hired, chair says

The chair of the Canberra Institute of Technology insists its board did not know its new CEO was being investigated over allegations of serious misconduct until after she was hired.

@luciedigitalni I'm more than a little suspicious about this. It seems to me that there's been a long running attempt to undermine the CIT and its board. I need to know more of the detail before passing judgement.
@smitjo given the experience with the former CEO, there have been some pretty serious governance failures

@luciedigitalni yes, I think that's right. My recollection is that the chair was a partner from one of the big consultant firms.
