Kit BashirThe bridge duplication project has gone to some incredible lengths to keep four lanes of traffic open during construction, like some continually shifting Lanes of Hanoi shit. But closing the bikeway for “a weekend” (lol, it’s still closed on Weds, who knew that would happen?!) is fine. Urge to deploy some “motorists must get out and push” signs.
David Arnold@Unixbigot it’s endlessly frustrating. Bike and foot paths can be closed (without any detour, let alone a safe replacement) seemingly at whim. My attempts to talk to the workers are always fruitless, and to be fair, it’s usually not their fault.
