Transcripts will be free for everyone.

I'll probably build more advanced features on top of them that may be Premium-only, but what you see in this beta will always be free for all Overcast customers.

Overcast doesn't charge for accessibility or table-stakes features, and once you use transcripts, you'll quickly realize that they're obviously both.

@marcoarment can’t see it on my 15 Pro running Overcast beta. Is it limited to regions where Apple provides their AI models?

@spitfire @marcoarment I see it on my 12 Mini which to my knowledge has no support for AI models at all so I’m just curious how it’s being done.

@troldann @spitfire @marcoarment it’s pretty straightforward, Marco listens to and transcribes each episode before it shows up in the app.
