Between Omens, Bestow, and MDFCs, it seems that there's tools enough to make an all-creature set like Legions at current standard power level and scale. #magicthegathering #custommagic

the really interesting puzzle in that case is to take a staple effect and then make it work.

Consider; bestow for a pacifism. The effect ('this creature can't attack or block') has to be linked to the creature, somehow. What, is it a defender that bestows defender?

Game-play wise, the obvious option is an expensive creature that bestows to be a pacifism, meaning that your opponent doesn't want to sacrifice the creature for fear of giving you a big creature. But how to theme that? What links?

similarly, how do you make a card interesting if it's mostly known for a stapled-on spell effect? Like consider an Inspired Charge style effect (all creatures get +2/+1 until end of turn. What creature do you put there that there's a meaningful tension?

... now I say it obviously, a 2/1
