I think my tech-exit plan is: Move to Finland and open a Mexican restaurant. A good one. I'm sure they have great ones but you can never say no to tacos. :)

Also, I need to (politely) remind them it is pronounced like “tortija” and not “tortiLat”. 😇

@marioguzman I'm not sure you're ready for what Scandinavia (and most of Europe, let's be honest) classifies as Mexican food.
@marioguzman if you dont like the cold so much, Australia also needs more legit mexican.
@dsc oh heavens no... I left California for a reason. The heat. Also you have "Resident Evil-level" spiders and other weird bugs in Australia. Never ever ever ever.
@marioguzman @dsc I never understood how anyone would put up with Australian wildlife. It really baffles me…

@illogical_me @marioguzman

The way I put it is that (apart from a few remote areas with crocodiles etc), nothing out there will _hunt_ you. So if you leave things be you’re cool. As an Australian who just moved to the PNW I have similarly irrational fears about being stalked by bears and mountain lions when we get out in the wilderness this summer.

@marioguzman Given the weather you may want to bet on Mexican soups. There was a Mexican place for a few years right across the street from my place in Vancouver that served pozole and it was really nice on the cold days!
@marioguzman come to Sicily, we desperately need good Mexican food
@marioguzman Sorry, has to be Norway 🤷🏻‍♀️
@jerclarke what has to be Norway? I'm not sure what you're saying.
@marioguzman Oh just that you should move to Norway instead because they like tacos so much. Saw that meme the same day as you post 😅
@jerclarke oh but I would never want to live in Norway.
