@carolannie I had a neighbor that has a beautiful garden of only native plants in NE Ohio. He even has pawpaw trees and shared the fruits with everyone. Three sides of his corner lot is all understory trees, shrubs, flowers and ferns. Native plants are not only beautiful but thrive in the right conditions with little upkeep once they are established.

I was very happy last year to rip out all of our grass between sidewalk and street and replace with native plants and wild flowers, as well as fallen timber.

This summer the whole front yard of grass might be next. 😁
