Not at all surprised to see UK kicking the can down the road. No one has anything to gain by getting involved in this with the US, and apart from anything else an oil crisis is perfect cover for homegrown economic failings. We’d be back to getting insulted and slapped with tariffs again in a few months, even if we did help them.
If the US can’t secure the area with their navy, what’s anyone else going to do? It’s abundantly clear to anyone with a brain that this needs to be a negotiated settlement, probably with the US and Israel cut out of any deal.
Trump will never come to the negotiating table because, to use his own words, he is weak and has no ability to negotiate.
