Is there a way to edit a gradient in #inkscape globally?
I have multiple objects using the same gradient, but i cannot find a way to edit the gradient once so that it updates on all objects.

Yes, kind of.

You need to set all the objects to not just the same gradient stops, but also the same gradient positions. This can be done in the xml editor.

If you want those positions to relate to the object's boundries, then you need to add that attribute in too.

Inkscape is capable of rendering all these. But does not yet have the easy to use interface for them.

@doctormo @thefeiter After reading this, I went to the Document Resources dialog which does list all the gradients. There is no way to edit them there unfortunately.
