TechCrunch
@kagihq Kagi is exploiting the small web for profit. their smallweb repo (https://github.com/kagisearch/smallweb) contains ai-slop plagiarized code. almost unbelievably, the readme says "Kagi's mission is to humanize the web" and there's even a "The Small Web seal: badge of authentic creation", in a repo that can't even claim authenticity!! 🤦 do not fall for their marketing lies, Kagi is a harmful profit-seeking company that belongs no where near the small web.
