@shriramk 8/10, guessed two as being Real when they were AI. Neato, I guess what we’ll be playing in the lunch-meeting tomorrow!

But I’m missing the 3rd category, “AI generated (Conf. 20XX)”!

Quick easy for you to sketch in a few words what kinds of tells you found, the red and green flags that got you into feeling, correctly and incorrectly, oh these authors are living people or no they’re just dead bots?

@shriramk Any sufficiently advanced technology described in an inaccessible way is indistinguishable from AI slop.

The two papers which I got wrong (one real, one AI) were both horrible to read.

@shriramk 9/1, but I was not reading them. I noticed that the real ones had more info in footers, while the AI-generated ones either had very little or no footers at all.
