#so315 it is a really big dilemma discussing whether Meta AI or humans would be better fact checkers to ensure content is safe for users to view. i think if AI is programed correctly and in depth, it can serve as a good fact checker. If they do decide to take notes from the community as well, they need to ensure they have a wide enough variety of different people from different backgrounds to make sure the opinions are including many groups of people.
@ccaruso34 I agree that AI could be helpful for efficiency, but I also think it might struggle with context, especially with things like satire or cultural differences. It seems like a mix of AI and human oversight might be the most realistic approach, but even then there are still questions about bias and who ultimately gets to decide what counts as truth. #so315
@ccaruso34 I also agree that this is definitely a big dilemma and something that warrants a larger conversation. Meta AI, while it is a great resource and could serve as a good fact checker in non-realistic scenarios, I think that having an actual human brain and someone with real-life experiences would be useful in a fact-checking role. #so315
