Did we learn nothing from the war in Iraq?

Power games are driving our world from crisis to crisis.

The loss of thousands of innocent lives, the human and environmental catastrophe and the destabilisation of entire regions.

Courageous leadership means resisting the politics of power rivalry, rising above the hateful rhetoric of division, and renewing our commitment to decency and each other.

Call on leaders everywhere to reclaim the moral compass. 👉 https://act.gp/4jPzozf

@greenpeace Did you just really post an AI generated video? 😒

I know you're trying to get a point across, but in this way, that goes a bit moot.

@ElBeeToots @greenpeace i find it hard to spot for sure tbh...

There is some symmetries or the straight line of fire, which seem unlikely, and going frame by frame, the 20 on the speed limit sign seems to sort-of appear with a short doubt if it should be 30..(also so many people by the road is weird)

I am reading news that they're bombing oil facilities, and environmental and health consequences come from that. So even if the video is "AI", similar is basically actually happening.

@jasper @greenpeace I don't think Greenpeace used generative AI themselves to make the video. I've seen it before they used it in their toot.

But that's not what my criticism is about: it's a little too cheap and easy to use questionable videos (or memes: they used Hide the Pain Harold recently) to get their point across. It's just too cliché.

@greenpeace We learned that Middle East “excursions” may be disasters for civilians, expensive for taxpayers, and wildly lucrative for Exxon, private military contractors, and arms manufacturers.
@greenpeace In my opinion world wide direct democracy is the best chance at rewinding the doomsday clock making the world safer especially at a time like this https://drive.proton.me/urls/GV0HKV6PH0#sI6v3vusr8BR
https://drive.proton.me/urls/RN64X62GSG#T4BPg532Ta6o world leaders have also pitched agendas for the future the more people know of there plans the more people stand against them
