My #Android phone installs games with every serious update. Even though I deselected them - the idea alone of having to opt out of useless crap like #CandyCrush is bad enough in itself, but this is opting out *in vain*.
These people have completely lost their minds.
@edgeofeurope Seriously? Mine doesn't seem to do that.
@GinevraCat Seriously, yesterday was the second time it "proposed" a selection of apps for me, and then downloaded one even though I chose nothing from their list.
Maybe it hasn't rolled out where you are. I live in Italy.

@GinevraCat @edgeofeurope It depends on the brand and the Android shell they use. Some include "unremovable" apps as standard, like Facebook or Candy Crush.

(I have a Google Pixel and that doesn't include any "extras" in either the basic OS nor its updates, unless you specifically choose to download and install them. Of course you could argue Google's own apps are bloatware to begin with and that you should be able to remove those from Android as well, but that's a bit beside the point.)
