@leyrer @tante Humanity is truly doomed if people feel like they have to use an LLM for copyediting. Not only are there non-LLM tools for that but there is the option of writing more carefully, publishing less and/or hiring an editor.

Can a tool be liberated from objectionable inventors? Sure, but that would require the creation of the tool to be liberated as well. A glass cutter isn't a liberated tool until it can be made with artificial diamonds instead of child-labor mined blood diamonds.
