Spent some time unsubscribing from YouTube channels, during which I discovered I was subscribed to at least a dozen I have no recollection of, some about things I have zero interest in.

The most mystifying was this one: a channel created a month and a half ago, with ZERO content, not one video, and yet which apparently I and over 1000 other people subbed to.

Is YT adding rando subs without my knowledge, or am I just losing it?

@imalcolm I checked, and discovered I’m subscribed to lots of stuff I forgot about, but it’s credible that I clicked the button.

I wonder if there’s a way to buy a channel with subscriptions and reset the creation date?
