I am a pretty tidy hotel/airbnb guest, but I've heard horror stories about people getting fined for damages that weren't their fault, so I adopted this habit of recording my hotel rooms upon check in and check out as verification of the condition, so I present to you this boring video of me "checking out" of our hotel room in Hawaii.

edit: I saw it’s the Laylow and I would’ve been wrong. I’ve stayed there before though!
@chad I love this! They upgraded us to a corner room but one of the balconies had a VERY persistent gigantic bug so Kev refused to open that balcony door.
@Alice are you flying home tonight or checking in somewhere else?
@chad We flew home yesterday. It was a ROUGH week with all of the flood warnings, but we made the best of it!
@Alice 😅 I was thinking about how much of a bummer it would be if last week was somebody’s one big trip to Hawaii.
@chad 😂 It's okay! We go a couple of times a year and we had raincoats and waded through the floods to walk from Waikīkī to downtown Honolulu and still had fun, so it was still a good time!
@chad But we did take a break to stop at Ala Moana mall because our pants were SOAKED so Kev bought some short shorts and I bought a skirt that I can only describe as "K-Pop Tennis Star" but it did make the torrential downpour more survivable.

@michelestrider It's kind of two-fold. One is for immediate proof if anyone contests anything and mayyyyybe two is if I want to remember how "weird" hotel rooms were in the past.
