Most important is debatable, definitely not first. Cyanobacteria are at least 2.4 billion years ago, perhaps 3.6 billion.

Fungi colonize the land. Cyanobacteria cracked water, during photosynthesis, but other forms of photosynthesis that bounded hydrogen or other compounds, I think iron was the other one predated them and was done by certain kinds of I think Proto bacteria if I’m not going senile on the topic
