Fungi colonize the land. Cyanobacteria cracked water, during photosynthesis, but other forms of photosynthesis that bounded hydrogen or other compounds, I think iron was the other one predated them and was done by certain kinds of I think Proto bacteria if I’m not going senile on the topic
