Eurycea chamberlaini, or Chamberlain's dwarf salamander. Found in shallow wetlands with sphagnum moss in North and South Carolina. After a year of working to protect its habitat, I finally got to see one in the wild. And yes, that's an adult.

@aphyr This one is missing part of its tail, which is about as long as the rest of its body. So yeah, this species is normally not quite this small.
