I often have an initial reaction to things, often negative. Then process, and come back with an ACTUAL reaction. (Example: If person I live with wants to change something, I might get upset because change. Then process it and be fine with that change.)

Just curious if 2-stage reactions are common. Typically, ND friends accpet/tolerate this, NT friends stay mad at the first stage for eternity.

@hellomiakoda I do this. It's hard to fully understand something until I've had a good chunk of time to think about it. So there's the initial reaction and then the delayed reaction. Often, the delayed reaction is less extreme, but it can go the other way.
