First day on a new diet! I have not gained any weight since I had to give up speed last December (😂) but I haven't lost any since then either. The weight doc said it's time to count calories and up the protein and fiber, then. (I'm already exercising, and just not eager to jump on the GLP-1 bandwagon...)

1400 cal, 120 g protein, 30+ grams of fiber. This is Not Easy! But me and Gemini are becoming good friends, working out menus... 😂 Pretty tasty stuff, all things considered.

@irilyth amphetamine is a drug in good standing for weight loss. Amazingly! On v..small doses and under a doctor's care, though. And blood pressure has to be monitored. It worked GREAT! i wasn't constantly thinking about food!! It was really amazing. I could walk away from sweets!. Unfortunately my blood pressure shot thru the roof after 8-10 months and I had to give it up. I was so unhappy about going back to being hungry again... 😭
@chiasm I'm at least vaguely familiar with that effect, but didn't realize that it was a modern treatment. Huh!
