Some of Scott Adams's early work on Dilbert was brilliant; I'm sad that he turned out to be a racist shitheel later in life, and that he didn't manage to redeem himself before he died.
Huh: Further experimentation shows that it's only when I've got a toot "selected", which I do when I'm scrolling up and down one toot at a time in a column. If nothing's selected, the key passes through normally. So this isn't as wretched as I'd thought, but I still don't like it and don't want it. :^p
Oof, something changed here and now Mastodon (or, at least, the way I read it on mastodon.online) is picking off Command-<number> to change columns, which I 100% do not want, I want that to flow through to the browser to change *tabs*. Anyone know how to disable this extremely unwanted new behavior? It changed as of like this morning, although I suppose it could've been sometime in the past few days, I restarted my browser this morning for the first time in a little while.
I called my US Rep and US Senators, asking them to denounce and otherwise resist fascist Republican President Trump's illegal attempts to deploy the US military against our own people. I also called my Governor, urging her to do likewise, and also to refuse to cooperate with the fascists.

I called my US Rep and US Senators, asking them to loudly condemn the so-called "Department Of Justice"'s charges against LaMonica McIver for attempting to visit an ICE detention center, and ideally hold accountable the people who are behind those charges.
I called my US Rep and US Senators, urging them to reclaim their authority over budgets, trade, and tariffs, which our wannabe-dictator of a President has nonsensically, destructively, and illegally stolen from them with his bogus claims of some sort of vague "national emergency".
I called my US Rep and US Senators, urging them to continue to push as hard as they can in whatever ways that they can to make it clear to the fascist Republican administration that kidnapping people and shipping them off to concentration camps in other countries is completely unacceptable.
