I believe that when you’re overstimulated, you should appear somewhat grayed out, and no one should be able to interact with you like a locked character in a video game.

I call it "zombie mode".
It doesn't feel like gray, it's like my brain runs in kernel panic from all input buffers overflowing, spilling mess all over the floor.
Just minimum cognition online. I can react. I can hear you. But I don't understand what you want from me. I will forget most of what you say. I refuse decisions.

I feel like I kinda do this.
I stopped masking my open feelings of being
overwhelmed and agitated.

Like i let my hands move, and don't try to close
my open mouth and glazed expression.
It kinda is like being greyed out.

It's like that whole thing of I don't need to make
it easier for other people, when they are the ones
making it difficult for me.
