Does this make sense? I was playing around with taking a photo of Saturn and the Orion Nebula a couple of nights ago, and low and behold, it looks like Saturn's rings are showing up. I was just using my phone, which doesn't have zoom or anything special. I didn't expect to see Saturn's rings.

@stevenray more likely that's astigmatism in your lens or atmospheric distortions of a bright star. Saturn doesn't look like that right now and it's too small to see rings without a telescope
