I took my teens out for spring break activities in Spring TX and ended up at Smallcakes and it’s v good. $5 cupcake, very soft tender cake, tons of frosting. Standard sort of flavorings (chocolate, vanilla, lemon, peanut butter etc, not like pistachio rose saffron or something). They have gelato and macarons but I didn’t try those. Inside is sort of fancy pink, little tables and benches.

@kimlockhartga my real favorite is La Duni Latin Bakery in Dallas; Cuattros Leches cake is very good. Meringue frosting to die for
