Was thinking about this today. With all the publicity surrounding this slop, it really seems like a psyop to get younger people (or anyone) into a mindset of “I shouldn’t learn programming. There’s no jobs for that and AI will just do it. I shouldn’t make music or art, AI will just do it anyway”. I’ve even fallen into this trap myself a couple of times! Really seems like a great plan by the overlords. Depress everyone so they are dumb and unskilled so they are forced to use your trash.

I can’t relate with that kind of thinking. I like programming. I also like to be curious, lean something, solve puzzles, build something myself. I mean sure I could let someone or something do everything for me and not participate in any process. But where’s the fun in that? And what would I even do all day if I don’t use computers anymore because they do everything themselves? Don’t read anymore because that’s already summarized and the key facts stored? Not play a videogame because it plays itself?
