Though there is much on the list of things to be done (Cross one off and three take its place, seems to be how school and work go these days) I think there will be not much productive work done today.
Wonderful day had by all. #Kilkenny for parade, ferris wheel ride and delicious Turkish food then back to #Carlow the very long way, stopping at Paddy’s Pub, up over Mount Leinster at sunset, Ducket’s Grove in the dark (very spooky) and finally a pint of Kilkenny Draught and a Buskers whiskey at our local, Corcoran’s, the oldest pub in #Carlow. 9PM and this old guy is finishing up early, as he started with homemade brown soda bread with a bit of ham and cheese. Corcoran’s bar is the oldest original bar in Carlow town. Located just before you cross the bridge to Graiguecullen. The bar offers a relaxing atmosphere and old world charm. This beautiful original bar contains some of the best examples of Victorian hand carved mahogany and ebony in the country. Selections of international and local craft beers, along with a selection of Irish whiskeys are always on offer.
