Years ago I was installing Linux from CDs in magazines, discovering distros like a kid exploring new worlds.

Today, my own minimal distro is on DistroWatch, not far from those same names.

Feels unreal.

I expected this to be yet another wacky Debian downstream, but I might actually use this if my Gentoo trip goes wrong.

(haven't tried your thing yet, but it's like if someone took Tails or Kali and sandblasted away all the crap that just slows down the LiveCD users)

@moses_izumi @terminaltilt Haha, that’s actually one of the best descriptions I’ve read 😄
“Sandblasted away everything unnecessary” is pretty much the idea.
It’s not meant to compete with Gentoo, just a fast, minimal live system that gets out of your way.
Also, there are 7 distros in the ecosystem… you might find one that fits you 😃
