Amelie WikströmIt's probably hard to explain what tumblr's new design is doing to non-tumblrinas, but it's awful. Reblogs are now divorced from their original post, meaning it's basically impossible to have an involved conversation, very hard to keep track of what is happening with your posts, and hopeless to get your art/comedic genius/etc discovered if you aren't already very popular. The site is 100% going to burn to the ground if they don't reverse it, and my feeling is they want it that way.
Going to join in a two day blackout from tumbr, starting tonight. So don't be alarmed if you see an increase in random philosophical ramblings and hot political takes here.
Whoops they changed it back already. Maybe staff aren't fully committed assholes trying to drive away users they find undesirable. (Or they are, but not to the point they want to upset their advertisers.)
