@Pineywoozle I was just starting to see more sitcoms, shows, films, that featured not-white-males, for a change. I just threw my back out again, and I'm starting to feel like this is a nerve issue, because my legs are acting really strange.
Callalily@Callalily @Pineywoozle Thank you. Unfortunately, I just got off FaceTime with my doctor, and she thinks I need to go to the ER because nerve impingement is involved, and it has something to do with a crushed disk in my spine. What a thrill.
@Callalily @Pineywoozle Been gone and came home, and got the most LOVING kiss from Juju (he's never done THAT before!). And my first tomato plant just set its first flower! Hoping it will set fruit soon!

@Pineywoozle @Callalily I'm back from the hospital, and what a wild ride that was! Apparently I have sciatica and lumbar stenosis, and it's an unhappy combination, but at least it's not septic arthritis (or so they said, and WTH is septic arthritis?) At any rate, the pain meds are good and I am going to rest a lot, and then start walking tomorrow. Exercise is the best medicine, and I don't need back surgery!
@thepoliticalcat @Callalily Awww 🥰 glad it’s better than you thought it was gonna be!!! Back surgery’s so risky. Can never decide if it’s a good or a bad thing that I can’t have pain meds, glad you’re enjoying them.😜 Exercise really is key. Can you swim? So jelly of you being by the sea. Gonna build a grain bin pool & 1 of these days we’ll sit by a body of water big or small & have tea. Love yas.

@Pineywoozle @Callalily I wouldn't go so far as to say it's better than I thought it would be? I do have a cyst and damage to the facets of two of the lumbar vertebrae, and they were surprised I wasn't in pain from that. All the pain was coming from the sciatic nerve in the RIGHT leg. And it's progressive, and surgery isn't really that helpful. But I'm determined to stay fit, and hopefully, I'll have a reasonably healthy and happy time.

@Callalily @Pineywoozle I'm up and about, which is plenty, and the pain is minimal. However, this is the test, I guess, since I'm slowly removing the pain meds. Hopefully, things will stay good and positive, but I'm exercising to make sure I take care of things. Thanks for all the love and good wishes!
