I think cuz I'm so surrounded by queer media, part of me forgets that it is still socially unacceptable for many and it's sad

@18trip for realll and like sometimes relative just throw the slur around in front of me and say "I mean it in a funny way" like. You also can avoid slurs even as a joke. That's how easy it is. The other day I was looking at a post about how disney removed LGBTQ+ scenes and people were like "good riddeance this is POISONING our children" ??? Like... and people using religion too... I'm religious and I never found the LGBTQ+ to be anything to hate or be scared of. We're all just humans.
@yaotsuri religion has alwaysss been used as an excuse to not support LGBTQ+ and it's so embarrassing because if you were to say you don't support their religion cuz of that "rule" they would come after you. I will never understand that 😠being religious has NOTHING to do with rights of others but people are actually so damn evil n cannot get themselves to accept others that way... they really do forget that there are literally religious people who are queer aagh
@18trip right! I'm Christian and I was never taught homophobia so it came as a shook to me that people will weaponise it against LGBTQ+ and like I read the lines supposed to justify the hate. They're out of context. They're mistranslations. What more can I say? Oh yeah, it keeps being debunked and also there's so many verses about loving others and stuff. People just hate to hate and that's really sad. I feel for everyone who has been hurt because of this stupid rethoric.

@18trip uhhh I had insta and fb but I removed them... I have like... I don't know what really counts as socials? Honestly I used insta every day for years but they're removing encryption so like. I'm in this awkward stage when I just have a bunch of messaging apps. I wanna find more socials tho... I have reddit and tumblr, does that count? Idk😠but I'm open to requests, I'd download anything lmao

@18trip basically encryption makes sure that the only people who can see your chats is you and whoever you're texting. But starting may they're making sure the chats are read by AI and accessible by the compagny itself.
And I use reddit, tumblr (barely), and uh... honestly I was a big insta user but I'm looking for alternatives. I have shit tons of messaging apps tho😠my tumblr is yaotsuri but I don't post much on it haha
