It's probably a good thing that Hergé never handed Tintin over to a successor. Some company like Entertainment One would have shoved him into an atrocious Spy Kids-style reboot. Snowy would be a robot. Haddock would be a space pirate. Actually I want to watch that now.
@anon_opin It's possible you might get to see some American reimaginings, now that the earliest Tintin works are public domain in the US. (Though I think the only recurring characters from what's public domain here so far are Tintin himself and Milou-- even the dog's usual English name "Snowy" came later.)
