@rasmus91 while I agree with your sentiment, unfortunately oil is crucial to so much more than energy. Prices will are about to skyrocket on petrochemicals and every product dependent on them: PVC pipes, polyester sportswear, soaps, disinfectants, antibiotics, shoe soles, paints, fertilizers — the list is endless.

I believe Paracetamol is also made from it, actually. But it is more a moan that we've known for so long we should shift, it's just happening so slowly, when it's clearly to the common good to go all in on green energy. Somehow people seems surprised that we are facing another "oil crisis"
