@aral Besides the lazy typical liberal who mutes the Gaza hashtags so that he can follow the news about his favorite soccer team undisturbed, there's also those who consider themselves the productive and ambitious and superior ones who don't have time to waste time watchings sports.

They follow grifters such as Ryan Holiday who preach a distorted version of #stoicism and they follow "productivity gurus" like Cal Newport and capitalists/millionaires who don't want others to take action against the system that makes them rich.

And then these stoicism bros use the philosophy that they misunderstood to justify their siding with oppression because they have an app to build that will recolutionize the world.
