Still no power though I hear that they have restored power on the north side of Higgins Lake so hopefully they will work their way around to us tonight.

Watched a huge branch fall near the driveway. It hit the power pole, but amazingly the lines all stayed up. The pole and lines shook for quite some time.

Heard from some people heading south that there were a lot of linemen heading north on I-75. So help is here and more is coming.

@CindySue lots of power trucks at local hotels here in Mount P. I imagine they are working in shifts and resting here.

@Anneheathen Probably. Absolutely nothing is open around here. The hotels are even all closed in Houghton Lake. The kids and I will head to a warming center if it gets too cold at home. So far it's bearable. Layers and covers. LOL

@Anneheathen On the Consumers map our neighborhood still says 8am, but everyone around us was pushed to tomorrow at 5pm. Going to drag the kids and myself to a warming station in a little bit for at least a little while.
