@meganL It’s bad in the US too. Often you get a high-floor bus with no lift, and even a lift is usually a major pain compared to boarding a train. I couldn’t really believe how, when my Metrolink train on Saturday terminated early, they gave people Uber credits, in an area that almost certainly has no wheelchair-accessible vehicles available through Uber, not to mention the issues with agreeing to Uber’s terms and all that. Disabled people are an afterthought in emergencies and disruptions.
