Thank you AI bubble. Computational sever that last year cost about NZ$35k now $103k. Math dept Capex budget only 70k , and any items > 100k need business case. Yay. I guess we can forget about computational mathematics now

If you can write a research proposal about improving/optimising computational #mathematics using #AI, you'll probably get millions in funding  
(That should be enough money to pay for a few servers to try the results.)
