#CrowUpdate I got up (almost woke up) to some large-billed crow's cawings. The south crows (is it them? I think) were right in front of my house and in the park!!! Even if I was not emotionally invested in "my" crows, I would never want those to live near me. That species of crow is so f'ing loud (and when they start cawing, it lasts for hours, somehow). I couldn't do much beyond giving them stern looks from my balcony and in my pajamas. ⤵️
Still, it eventually was enough for one to leave, the other soon followed (I think one is really scared of me.)
No idea why, but many large-billed crows were hyper this morning. At some point I saw seven of them in the sky above me (rather high for crow standards).
Mr and Ms Crow eventually showed up but didn't stay long with me. (pictured Mr Crow who's okay with approaching me these days).

They've been out and about all morning, including being perched on poles near their north "border." They spend more time than they used to over there (it used to be the buffer zone with the "crows by the sea"), so territories' borders may have changed a bit?
By the way, the other day, I showed you a picture of the new nest being built. Well, change of plans, they abandoned that spot (maybe not safe enough?). I'm not 100% sure where the new location is, but ⤵️
In the past few days, I saw Ms Crow spend more time in their old nest's tree than she has spent there in the past few years. I thought the tree was not fit for a nest, as all medium and small branches were cut a bit more than a year ago and haven't had the time to grow back, but on the other hand, the leaves are pretty dense and if they manage to build a nest there, it'll be well hidden and well protected. ⤵️
