Are people still defending Biden or is his abject failure to prosecute Trump actually universally recognized now, especially as the Epstein files become public, something he failed to do or prosecute the relevant people for their contents?

(Please don’t respond saying the files were “sealed” because as we’re all aware of now sealed files can become unsealed with sufficient effort that didn’t happen, hence the problem)

I’ve been saying this from the beginning, but I was told to shut up and get in line and vote Biden, which I did. And he fucked us. And we need to talk about it so we don’t make the same mistakes again.

If there’s one takeaway about this entire situation, it’s that we need to stop electing old men who would hold the country hostage with their egos as they slowly lose their minds to be President of the United States

@bascule

Here's me telling people to shut up and learn how our government works. For the record, voting for the Democrats and then spending four years on social media developing resentment and apathy towards them, probably favors the fascists, not democracy.

@HakeemG the constituents of the Democratic Party need to hold a retrospective on the failures of Joe Biden because the party itself failed to do so.

If we don’t recognize the mistakes Biden made, we’re doomed to repeat them.

And to be clear, the consequences of those mistakes are directly responsible for Trump regaining power.

@HakeemG I will say the party’s own assessment of Trump’s victory did nail the culprits in the correct order:

1. party leadership
2. Biden himself
3. Harris

(I am particularly sympathetic to Harris as if Biden hadn’t insisted her platform had to be identical to his, I think she could have won)
