Mtor@mcnado this one makes me so sad and angry. I met a truck driver a while back. He was an Afghan interpreter who got asylum here in the US. All he wanted to do was tell me about the amazing bakery he found the day before. This story makes me think of him.
Cluster Fcku@mtor @mcnado Yes, I get that about the bakery! So many just want the best for their family. The best bread, freshest herbs, most promising education, cleanest homes. Something in me thinks those fascist don't act out of a sense of racial superiority, but rather these fine & warm immigrant families make them feel jealous, empty and purposeless, and they can't take it.
