Spring is coming. Time for a new broom. And why not make that broom a joyful statement? So thank you, Andreas Bürsten from Germany @buersten for making this possible. Away with the dirt. In with smiles and support!

@jwildeboer @buersten

Mmmm... Isn't plastic the famous dirt which pollute everything all around our tiny planet, our brains included?

@A_Mimi Yes. And using wood is also disputable. I however made my decision that the statement is more important to me. But if you prefer: @buersten also offers brooms and brushes from natural materials, even vegan versions.

@jwildeboer @buersten

You know, there are natural dyes, plants, earths, used worldwide since at least prehistoric times.just like plant-based brooms.

The use of wood is a far lesser concern as these brooms will never be produced in large enough quantities to have an environmental impact comparable to that of these plastic ones that you find everywhere.

It is easy, indeed, to make non-polluting brooms: humans did so since the midst of times.

@A_Mimi
Before blaming others you should take the time to inform yourself a bit. Here is a description about the material used for the broom from the websit of the producer. If you are interested, you will find a way to translate it. I'm not interested to do that for you
"100% Recycling für eine saubere Zukunft (kann auch wieder recycelt werden): Die auffällige, kunterbunte Bestückung ist das Herzstück dieses Besens. Die Borsten bestehen zu 100% aus recycelten PET-Kunststoffen. Das macht den Besen nicht nur vegan, sondern auch extrem ressourcenschonend. Die PET-Borsten sind robust, langlebig und ideal geeignet, um Schmutz zuverlässig aufzunehmen."
