Spring is coming. Time for a new broom. And why not make that broom a joyful statement? So thank you, Andreas Bürsten from Germany @buersten for making this possible. Away with the dirt. In with smiles and support!

@jwildeboer @buersten

Mmmm... Isn't plastic the famous dirt which pollute everything all around our tiny planet, our brains included?

@A_Mimi Yes. And using wood is also disputable. I however made my decision that the statement is more important to me. But if you prefer: @buersten also offers brooms and brushes from natural materials, even vegan versions.

@jwildeboer @buersten

You know, there are natural dyes, plants, earths, used worldwide since at least prehistoric times.just like plant-based brooms.

The use of wood is a far lesser concern as these brooms will never be produced in large enough quantities to have an environmental impact comparable to that of these plastic ones that you find everywhere.

It is easy, indeed, to make non-polluting brooms: humans did so since the midst of times.

@[email protected] Thank you for trying to shame me in public for my, as you seem to suspect, uninformed decisions and thus trying to add negativity to a post that was meant to make my followers and friends feel a bit better. I hope at least you feel better now :) Oh, and welcome to my blocklist. Have a nice day!
@jwildeboer Your post did cheer me up and the other guy immediately got a special place in my blocklist also.
