There is a Nashville connection, oddly enough.

Bobbi Lynn, who we know very little about, recorded this song at Nashville's ELF records. It became a part of Northern Soul only because the single was released in the UK on the Stateside label, and fans liked it. Can this Northern Soul have a Nashville accent? You decide.
