Ok, this explains all of the weirdness from last week RE discontinuing plugins and the support folks being kinda useless about it.

@cronocx I’m not sure I’d buy a sub to them when their plugins are so locked down with DRM, but I hope they bring some much needed improvement to FCP’s plugin system - which is very good, but limited when it comes to things like syncing across machines and relinking offline effects and templates.
@rowan_johnson I’m just saying that for me, it could make it worth it. I obviously don’t want an other one, but I also don’t mind that I can turn it off and on and know it’ll flip a switch on all of this. Managing plugins will absolutely be easier.
