I love it when passions combine... two is nice, but THREE!?!
Researchers have found a way to grow #CHICKPEAS in #LUNAR soil - and it works best when treated with #FUNGI: https://nautil.us/scientists-grow-chickpeas-in-lunar-soil-1278864

Scientists Grow Chickpeas in Lunar Soil: It’s one giant leap for moon hummus

Now for those really wanting the nitty gritty: there is no soil on the moon, just dirt. Specifically regolith. Gritty indeed. Think dry lunar dust, maybe some smaller rocks. No organic material. The experiment found success when they created a 75% regolith mix with 25% compost (specifically vermicompost)-- and even better when they protected the plants with a special fungi solution.
Also for the detail oriented, you'll know that I've used the common name chickpea here, but generally I prefer ... not their scientific name (Cicer arietinum), but their nombre fabuloso: Garrrrbonzo!
