I don’t believe this story to be true for a second. There is no way, no heckin’ way, that you develop and release Liquid Glass, without *anyone* inside Apple objecting to it, when prominent voices in the community outside have called it the worst UI regression in the history of the Mac.

@tuomas_h The question will be — has Apple leadership learned their lesson? Or will Liquid Glass be another “butterfly keyboard” that we are stuck with for years because Apple can’t admit when it’s wrong?

@macinthrope I have a feeling it’s going to be a butterfly keyboard. Part of the reason is that they would probably rather not put developers and themselves through another redesign immediately. But I’m hopeful the time will come and before then we will see tangible improvements to what we have now.
