You wouldn’t have any sort of laptop, pc, gpu if not capitalism. This is luxurious non essential stuff not needed in socialism. Nor any gaming gpu that do not contribute anything to collective work output. Pc hobby and ability to frivolously have insane electricity and resources guzzling machines just for the heck of it, is only possible in capitalism. central planning simply refused to allocate resources to produce ultra consumerism goods.

Socialism does not mean central planning. A socialist system can be centrally planned, but there’s no requirement for it to be. It doesn’t mean a maximum of efficiency or a focus on essentials either for that matter, it’s just a matter of who owns the factories and such that make things. For that matter, if a system is not literally perfect, then it has room for improvement or replacement with something even better, and thus there is reason for complaint.
