Thanks to @jamesthomson for demonstrating contactless / Apple Watch support on the Glasgow Subway on day one of operation.
@expresstransit I was not fully expecting the musical cue at the end.
@jamesthomson @expresstransit I did not expect it at all and it sent me into a giggle loop. Every time I rewatch it, it sends me straight back
@rail @expresstransit This is why Jeremy is the social media king.
@expresstransit @jamesthomson By far the lowest friction way to engage with public transport access. Phone stays in pocket for added safety.
@expresstransit @jamesthomson I don't have an Apple Watch, but it always looks so awkward having to twist your arm that way to tap it against that kind of thing.
@scottishwildcat @expresstransit Oh, it's really annoying, and designed for right handed people holding a phone.
@jamesthomson @scottishwildcat @expresstransit which is why I use my phone in London for contactless on TfL not my watch, because my watch is on my left face up (I used to wear my watch face down until I switched to smartwatches)
